Fun with Meggan “The Wisdom of Teeth” Part 2
“Oh you’ll be fine!! You wont remember leaving the place! All you’ll remember is going there and POOF! Waking up on the couch.” Wasn’t that the truth? Going through my wisdom teeth extraction seemed to be a walk in the clouds. I got my teeth pulled early in the morning and was up in the afternoon feeling fine, thinking that somehow I got lucky and skipped all the horror stories and swelling that people warned me about. PSHH was I wrong!!
Sure, I felt great the day of the surgery. I even reorganized my house and all the closets in it. However… the next day, when I started to take the medication and antibiotics, that was a whole different story!! Popped one and I was in a fun house from hell. Room started spinning but the pain stayed the same. It felt like someone had punched me in both sides of the mouth. I couldn’t even try trying to soak up the meds with food because all I could eat was soup!! The horror! Think about it, how much can soup soak up gross feelings? NOT AT ALL is the answer. But hey, at least while my stomach was getting torn apart by the ghastly drugs the soup kept me warm. Right? No! I have blankets for that.
So to whoever had the bright idea to yank out four teeth then pump the person’s body full of horrible drugs and not let them eat… I say bravo! Thanks for my wonderful weekend. Yours truly, Megg.

Fun With Meggan “The Wisdom of Teeth” Part 1
Many people belong to the wisdom tooth extraction club and I’m soon to join. That’s right! I signed my passport for the journey at the ripe old age of 22. I’m allowing them to excavate my mouth for all 4 of these fully grown beauties. Going under the knife in the early hours Friday. What a GREAT way to kick off my spring break!
You might remember back when you had them yanked out in your teens so you know what I’m looking forward to; the ever so attractive swollen chubby cheeks, the glistening streams of saliva uncontrollably escaping from my numbed mouth. How attractive! However, it is a look that I’m confident that I can pull off as I plan on hibernating in my house for the entire weekend. I only hope that with the loss of my wisdom teeth the wisdom won’t go as well. Only time will tell.
