The power of mail, you say? How about the power of Spotwelders + Pluto working together for CE + USPS?
Now, that’s a powerful thing!

This campaign was a 3 spotter, and boasts the fine work of Lucas Spaulding. The entire project was seamless,
with Lucas beginning the cuts at Spotwelders and traveling to Pluto for a week of locking cuts before finish.
Zack Jacobs then worked with Lucas from afar to finish the revisions, handle cleanup (what mountains?) and alt cuts.

If you learn one thing from these spots, it’s that Every Door Direct Mail is the best way to reach all the people who matter most.

Oh, you!!

Our good friends over at Real Integrated recently added Oakland University to their client roster and we were more than happy to pitch in and help with this campaign. This was one of ‘those’ projects… you know the kind that you’re excited to work on? The kind with a big shoot, that calls for :60′s, :30′s, :15′s – full graphic spots, radio, web content, and more! Pluto handled all assets of the project, from scouting to shooting, to cutting, graphics, audio, color correction and delivery. John Beavers, our resident go-to DP assembled a great crew and though it was a long day of shooting, the results were outstanding. Working closely with the agency over 2 months, the entire process was streamlined and smooth as a result of our refined digital workflow. This workflow was a crucial benefit to the project and allowed us to focus on the important things, like making everything look amazing.

Because, like O.U. – we here at Pluto like to raise the bar a little higher.

Have you ever wondered what really happens in a car dealership? Goodby, Silverstein & Partners hopes so! Chevy’s latest campaign saw GSP team up with Randall Einhorn (Director of “The Office”) to produce a series of spots and videos that break away from the tradition of local retail advertising to share the trials and tribulations of a made for TV dealership family. GSP made certain Chevy’s Truck Month + Fuel Economy deals were being expressed while utilizing Einhorn’s comic influence and struck the perfect balance between being entertained and being sold to. To sum it up with an abundance of puns: GSP cast the crew at Pluto to make sure the spots were camera ready before airing…

Pluto handled all finish and audio work – VFX + Cleanup, Digital Color Grading, Sound Design, Mix and Motion Graphics. With an initial count of 18x TV, 6x Social, 6x Longform and 4x Radio spots, we knew we had our work cut out for us. Pluto’s shared storage system and streamlined workflow allowed all of the artists to work seamlessly, which on a project of this size, is an integral element for maximum efficiently. Timelines and footage being shared across rooms with no transferring and no copying made for a drama free experience. And when you’re working on comedic spots… less drama means more time for laughs!!

Brad Waskewich and Dahkil Hausif each handled a spot for Global Hue and the results are fantastic.

Oh happy day!!

This hilarious little video had been floating around online for a while, as an entry in Chevy’s Route 66 contest. Lucky for Zach Borst, the powers that be decided it was “Super” and McCann brought it to Pluto to finesse for broadcast during the Big Game! The content is all Zach B. but the finish was all Zack J. Cleanup, some color, and a mix from the amazing Warren Munsey brought it all together. We may be partial, but the internet agreed… this was one of the highlights spots in this years Superbowl and we’re proud to have helped!

He’s always watching. Always.

This holiday season, Chevy gets us into the spirit with a campaign highlighting a certain salesman who goes by the name “Nick”. He’s jolly, he loves cookies and he wants you to get a great deal on a new car! The elves at GSPDET put together a slew of :15′s, :30′s and longforms sure to make you ha ha ha! (or ho ho ho)

We had slightly longer to deliver our goods than you-know-who… still, there was much work to be done! Pluto handled the visual effects, audio post and finish. The plan was simple – we… made a list for cleanup, clients checked it twice. Grant got to mixing while Zack made the cars all look nice. Last came graphics before shipping out!!!!!!!

The greatest gift of all was that with Pluto’s shared storage system, every artist working on the project had immediate and up to the second access to the project and footage.
